It is the responsibility of every citizen to vote. That includes voting in Presidential elections, mid-term elections for members of Congress, and local elections for City Council and school boards. When you don’t vote, you let others decide what kind of government you are going to get. If you have moved since the last time you voted you need to register again with your current address.  You can register online in New York with a state government issued ID, such as a driver’s license,  and in most other states too. New York State voter registration forms are also available from your area UCATS steward/officer and from the UCATS office by calling 646-602-1485.
